Police were on the scene after a 'serious crash' on the A324 in Woking . Officers revealed they were called shortly before 9pm on Sunday, January 8.
The road was closed overnight following the crash with Surrey Police announcing it reopened shortly before 6am on Monday (January 9). It is currently unclear how many vehicles have been involved, or if anyone was injured during the incident.
The road was closed between Blackhorse Road and Bagshot Road. Drivers heading towards the area were warned to plan in advance of their journeys.
A Surrey Police spokesman said at the time of the incident: "Brookwood Lye Road in Woking is currently closed at both ends - junctions with Blackhorse Road & Bagshot Road - following a serious collision. We anticipate it will remain closed overnight, please take this into account with your travel plans. We will update once the road reopens."
