Aldi is looking to open almost 60 new stores across the South East of England - and a dozen of them are in Surrey. The popular budget supermarket said it was on the look out for 'commercial sites' as it looks to expand its presence across the whole of the UK.
Aldi is the fifth biggest supermarket in the UK and has more than 920 sites across the country.The supermarket states: "We have an ambitious property investment and development programme across the South East and we need your help to find new commercial sites."
In the most up-to-date list of possible 58 site locations in the south east, there are 12 Surrey towns and villages that have been identified. These range from Guildford to Dorking and Godalming .
