Love Island’s winter series will be returning to screens shortly, bringing some heat to what is otherwise a very cold January. This season, the Islanders have jetted off to a stunning South African wine valley, and are settling in to a brand new villa which boasts three swimming pools and a stunning mountain range view.
A brand new villa isn't the only exciting change to the show this year, as viewers will also see a different host after Laura Whitmore called it quits. Now fans will see 28-year-old Maya Jama presenting the programme for the first time. The new host is certainly going to enter the new show with a bang, a source revealed to the Mirror : "Bosses want to make sure they launch Maya in style, so they have splashed out on an epic stunt that will even stun her. It's the most expensive opener for a series ever, and it is certain to get people talking."
As we brace ourselves for an exciting new series of Love Island and all the heart-stopping drama that comes with it, let's take a look at the previous eight Surrey contestants and where they are now, including TV presenter Olivia Attwood , and Casa Amor bombshell Coco Lodge who sent tongues wagging last summer after her antics with Andrew Le Page.
