A man has died following a "serious" multi-vehicle crash in Woking which also left a four-year-old girl in hospital. Surrey Police said officers were called to Brookwood Lye Road at 6.52pm on Sunday (January 8) following reports of a two-vehicle collision on the road.
One of the passengers, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man in his 30s, two women in their 30s and a four-year-old girl were all taken to hospital for treatment after South East Coast Ambulance Service (SECAmb) also attended.
Brookwood Lye Road reopened in the early hours of Monday (January 9) after being closed between Blackhorse Road and Bagshot Road for a number of hours overnight. An investigation is now underway to understand how the crash happened.

“Were you travelling along Brookwood Lye Road on Sunday evening between about 6.30pm and 7pm?” a Surrey Police spokesperson said.
“We are looking for anyone with CCTV , dashcam footage, helmet cam or any other footage or images that might be able to assist with our investigation to come forward. If you have any information that may help, please contact us quoting incident number PR/4523005300.”
A SECAmb spokesperson added: "I can confirm our attendance at the scene and that we were joined at the scene by the Kent, Surrey , Sussex Air Ambulance Service. Four patients were taken to hospital and a man sadly died at the scene."
